Join the Ohio WiNUP Community Committee in hosting a pollinator garden planting with the children at the Marion County Boys and Girls Club! Prior to the students arriving, WiNUP members will prepare the garden beds and place plants at designated locations. When the children arrive, a short presentation will be given to the students along with a handout. Students (and WiNUP members) will learn about what pollination is, why it is important and how pollinator gardens can help. Instructions will then be given on how to plant, and students will be matched with an adult to complete the planting. We hope this event makes a positive impact on the community and gets the children’s minds Buzzing about pollinators! We hope to see many of you there for this exciting event! Volunteers will be capped at 15, so sign-up Now!! This is an extension of the planting held in 2022!
