Patricia Morales

2026 Corpus Christi Chapter Chair



Patricia began her career in the utility industry with AEP Texas in 2018 and has continued to grow through service, leadership, and professional development. She joined WINUP in 2024 and is proud to actively serve both internationally and locally. Patricia is currently serving her second year on the International Ways and Means Committee and contributes at the local level through the Social Media, Scholarship, and Fundraising Committees.

Within her company, she is an active member of the W@W (Women @ Work) HOLA (Hispanic Origins Latin American) Employee Resource Groups, supporting engagement and inclusion across the organization. She is also the co-founder of a book club that promotes reading and connection among colleagues.

Passionate about mentorship and community impact, Patricia serves in a mentorship program to support and guide High School students in developing post-secondary college and career plans. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, further strengthening her commitment to leadership, service, and professional growth within the utility industry.

Kareena Eskeets

2026 Corpus Christi Chapter Vice Chair



As a Real-Time Reliability Engineering Manager in Transmission Operations, she specializes in navigating complex reliability challenges in dynamic, high-consequence environments. She supports engineers during real-time events, help communicate risk clearly, and focus on enabling strong, confident decision-making under pressure.

With her experience spanning distribution and transmission since 2013, she has worked across the ERCOT, SPP, and PJM footprints. Kareena earned her Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Texas A&M University–Kingsville, along with a minor in Mathematics.

Kareena is committed to supporting the advancement of women in the utility sector and building a community where technical excellence and leadership go hand in hand.

Outside of work, she loves traveling and spending time at home with her husband and two dogs.


Marissa Garcia

2026 Corpus Christi Chapter Secretary



Marissa Garcia is a TFS Work Management Coordinator at AEP Transmission, an operating company of American Electric Power. She began her career in the utility industry in 2021, and has since built experience in supporting transmission line work operations.

Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Marissa earned her Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 2020 from Texas A&M University- Kingsville, complemented by a minors in Mathematics and Business Administration. 

Marissa became a member of WiNUP in 2025 , where she serves on the Fundraising and Community Service Committees. She has also become a member of the International Marketing Committee for 2026.

Outside of work, Marissa enjoys spending quality time and traveling with her husband and two boys. 


Brianna Tijerina

2026 Corpus Christi Chapter Treasurer




Brianna Tijerina earned her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi in 2019. She began her engineering career in 2020 as an Operations Engineer at Actalent.

Brianna joined American Electric Power in early 2023 and officially obtained her Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification shortly thereafter. She has since passed the NCEES Principles and Practice of Engineering (Power) exam and is in the process of obtaining her Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Brianna joined WiNUP in 2024 and currently serves as Treasurer. In this role, she is responsible for financial tracking, budgeting support, and maintaining accurate records to ensure transparency and accountability. She values structured processes, follow-through, and using data to support sound decision-making.

Outside of work, Brianna enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants, and strength training.


Amanda Lane

2026 Corpus Christi International Board Representative



Amanda Lane is a Utility Forester at AEP-Transmission, an operating company of American Electric Power. 

Amanda found the start to her career in the Electric Utility industry back in 2012 while working with a vegetation management company that served most of AEP’s footprint. Over the past 14 years' she has had many roles and responsibilities. She joined AEP-Transmission as a Utility Forester in 2023.

She was born and raised in Victoria, Texas, earning her Associate of Arts degree from the Victoria College in 2012 and studied Psychology at the University of Houston-Victoria. Amanda became a member of WiNUP in 2023 and sits on the executive board for the Corpus Christi Chapter. She serves in a number of non-profit organizations in various roles. 

Amanda has 3 children and 2 grandchildren. She loves going to concerts, being outdoors and spending time with her family. She loves to help others and volunteers within her community whenever she can. She looks forward to growing both her personal and professional relationships.
