Gricelda Calzada

2024 Corpus Christi Chapter Chair

Gricelda Calzada has been a member of WiNUP and the South Texas Chapter since 2017 where she has been involved on multiple committees. She has served as a Chair of the Scholarship Committee and member of the Linda Johnson Newsletter Award Committee.

Gricelda is a Regulatory Pricing and Analysis Manager at AEP Texas, an operating company of American Electric Power. She is responsible for managing business, governmental and regulatory relations for the company.

A native of Corpus Christi, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi where she graduated with Honors.

On a personal level, Gricelda has six kids and five grandkids. She is fluent in Spanish and excels in helping others succeed.

Christina Gomez

2024 Corpus Christi Chapter Vice Chair



Christina Gomez is a Regulatory Consultant at AEP Texas, an operating company of American Electric Power. She serves as the AEP Texas Liaison for Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) customer complaints, ensures rate implementation and alignment wit the AEP Texas Tariff.

Christina began her career in the Electric Utility industry back in 2000 while working in the Call Center assisting end-use customers. Over the past 23 years' she has held various roles including Supervisor of Billing & Account Operations, Market Transactions Issues Supervisor and most recently Regulatory Consultant.

She was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Incarnate Word in 2019. Christina became a member of WiNUP in 2021 and looks forward to fostering professional relationships while working closely with the local community.

Amanda Lane

2024 Corpus Christi Chapter Secretary



Amanda Lane is a Utility Forester with AEP. She is President of the Calallen High School Band Boosters.

Amanda is married with 3 children, 2 grandchildren and 2 dogs. She and her family are active in their church and attend weekly bible studies.

During her free time, she likes to hunt and fish, going to concerts and volunteering within her community.

Melinda Earnest

2024 Corpus Christi International Board Represenative



Melinda Earnest is a Competitive Retailer Account Executive at AEP Texas, an Operating Company of American Electric Power. She works with Retail Electric Providers (REPS) on a daily basis providing them a great customer experience regardless of the situation.

Melinda has been with the company for 23 years. She is co-chair for Retail Market Training Task Force (RMTTF), a subcommittee at ERCOT.

She is a graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She enjoys spending time with her family and running in her spare time.
