About this event

This webinar will provide a general overview of the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) project being developed by Dominion Energy. With a nameplate of 2.6 GW of generation capacity, CVOW is the largest offshore wind project currently being developed in USA.

Meet the Speaker:

Frabricio Montesdeoca, PE/PMP, Manager for the Offshore Wind Department, Dominion Energy
Fabricio Montesdeoca oversees the Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) package in the execution of CVOW. He received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from ‘Escuela Politecnica Nacional’ in Ecuador and his master’s degree in civil engineering with Concentration in Construction Engineering and Management from NC State. Fabricio is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), holds a Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification and has been managing projects in the Energy industry for 12+ years.

Fabricio also serves as the President of the Board of Directors for Hispanics in Energy - Virginia Chapter (HIE-VA). HIE-VA is a non-profit organization which mission is to propel the participation of Hispanics in the Energy Industry.
