About this event

Track – or – Treat: WiNUP is partnering with Griffith Jr./Sr. High School for their 2026 Track – or – Treat! Organizations gather to pass out candy to 500+ trick or treaters. This event will benefit the Griffith Unified Sports programs; $5 admission fee for each attendee, children up to 6th grade and individuals with disabilities are welcome to participate. Each organization will be provided with a table and chairs and given an opportunity for a fun contest to decide the top 3 best tables!

Event is held at the Griffth Jr./ Sr. Highschool Fieldhouse and hallways; WiNUP Metro Chicago will begin setting up at 4pm. Doors will close for trick or treaters at 7pm, giving each organization 30 minutes to clean their areas.

We are looking for 3 volunteers to join! Kid-friendly costumes/ Halloween t-shirts encouraged!

Candy Donation Drive for Griffith Unified Sports Track - or - Treat: WiNUP Metro Chicago is collecting candy donations to support the Griffith Unified Sports Track - or -Treat event!
A donation collection box will be located at the NIPSCO Southlake Complex front entrance beginning Wednesday, October 1. Donations will be accepted through Tuesday, October 13.

Your support helps create a fun and inclusive experience for Griffith Unified Sports athletes and participants. Any individually wrapped candy is greatly appreciated.
