Gricelda Calzada

2023 South Texas Chapter Chair


Gricelda Calzada has been a member of WINUP and the South Texas Chapter since 2017 where she has been involved on multiple committees. She has served as Chair of the Fellowship Committee and member of the Linda Johnson Newsletter Award Committee.


Gricelda is a Regulatory Pricing and Analysis Manager at AEP Texas, an Operating Company of American Electric Power. She is responsible for managing business, governmental and regulatory relations for the company.

 

She has held numerous leadership positions within the company during her 23-year career including being the External Affairs Manager in San Angelo, ERCOT Liaison for AEP Texas in Austin and Business Operations Supervisor in Corpus Christi.

 

Gricelda also has civic involvement experience where she served as the company’s loaned executive to the United Way of the Coastal Bend, served as part of the Executive Committee for the board of the Boys and Girls Club of San Angelo, was a volunteer at the Meals for the Elderly as a driver delivering meals and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of the Coastal Bend in Corpus Christi.

 

A native of Corpus Christi, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi where she graduated with Honors.

 

On a personal level, Gricelda has six kids and three grandkids. She is fluent in Spanish and excels in helping others succeed.  

Cindy Berry

2023 South Texas Chapter Vice Chair and Treasurer


Cindy Berry is an Environmental Program Manager at Austin Energy. She has over 30 years’ experience in the electric utility business delivering a variety of energy efficiency and Demand Side Management (DSM) services to residential homes, multifamily buildings, and commercial facilities. Her projects have covered a wide variety of projects including energy efficiency audits and retrofits, renewable energy, and demand response programs.


Cindy is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Landscape Architecture, a M.A. in Human Services from St. Edward’s University and she holds a Project Management Professional certificate. She has been a member of WiNUP since 1991, has served in all chapter offices and most International positions. Cindy is a WiNUP past president and recipient of the Oak Award and Honorary Life Member awards. She enjoys traveling, gardening and snow skiing.
