The pandemic has disproportionately impacted women's jobs and livelihoods. In September, 865,000 women dropped out of the workforce, compared to 216,000 men.



Ways You can Help:

  • Purchase items from the DFS Amazon Wish List! Click Here to see exactly what DFS Sisters need.
  • Donate  new and gently-used Clothing and Care Items to DFS: 1204 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43201. The team is always in search of the following pieces:
    • Black Pants (all sizes needed)
    • Flat Shoes (most needed: sizes 7 and 9+)
    • Work Boots (line and factory)
    • Denim Jeans (in good condition)
    • White Button-Ups or Shells
    • New Undergarments Personal Care Items – Travel size soaps, toothbrushes, etc.
    • Unused Makeup

  • Create an #EmpowerHer Note of importation to be included in a personal care bag given during each suiting.  Mail or deliver notes to address listed above.

Women's International Network of Utility Professionals is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (6) organization under the IRA Code.  Section 501 (c) (6) of the IRS code provides for the exemption of business leagues - which is an association of individuals with a common business interest.  Contributions to WiNUP are not tax deductible as a charitable donation.  Contributions may qualify as a business expense.  Donors should consult a tax professional.
