Melenda Meazle

2024 North Texas Chapter Chair


Melenda Meazle is a Market Consultant with Oncor Electric Delivery. Over the past 8 years, Melenda held previous roles within Oncor’s Measurement, Customer Engagement and Transmission organizations. 


Melenda has over 20 years of Customer Service and Technology experience in the medical field. Following her graduation from University of Cincinnati with a BBA in Information Systems with a focus on Big Data (the new customer experience), she and her family moved to Dallas, TX. 


Melenda spends her time outside of work with her close-knit family. She enjoys giving back to her community, traveling, reading, playing tennis, and adventuring at local and state parks.

Bridget McNeill

2024 North Texas Chapter Vice Chair


Bridget McNeill is a Customer Engagement Senior Business Analyst for Oncor Electric Delivery. During her 45 year career, Bridget has held numerous positions, which includes being the first female meter reader for Texas Power & Light! In her current role, she is a Subject Matter Expert in resolution for complaints that may originate with the customer or the customer's agent (attorney, contract or sales administrator, aggregator, etc.) and third-party vendors (PUC, BBB, Attorney General's Office). She has been involved in the set up and implementation of processes, procedures and systems utilized by Customer Relations for tracking and reporting customer issues and other work performed by the team.  

Sue Mercer

2024 North Texas Chapter Secretary


Sue Mercer retired from Oncor in 2021, after a 45-year career serving in various positions in Customer service, Design and Management. Her position immediately prior to retirement was West Region Manager of Customer Operations, where she led a team responsible for approximately 425,000 customers in areas of media and customer relations, with specific emphasis as the liaison to elected officials, main street, regulatory and municipal issues, and coordinating solutions for escalated issues related to both Oncor transmission and distribution matters.


Sue has been a member of WiNUP since 1995 and served as International President in 2003. She has also served as every office on the international executive committee, many years on the International Board, and has chaired numerous international committees throughout her membership. She was honored to receive the International Honorary Life Award in 2019 and the International Member of the Year Award in 2000. Sue has also served her local chapter in numerous officer and committee positions. 



Sue and her husband, Clifford, live in Decatur, Texas and are the parents of two grown sons, as well as the proud grandparents of 3 grandchildren.  She remains active in the community where she lives and continues to serve in leadership positions of civic organizations.

Gloria Roberts

2024 North Texas Chapter Treasurer


Gloria retired from Texas-New Mexico Power/First Choice Power as Director of Customer Operations.


During her 33 year career, she served the utility in a variety of roles including customer service manager, Business Unit Manager, and Lead Business Unit Manager. She joined the staff at North Central Texas College for 10 years as Workforce Development Coordinator.


Gloria earned a bachelor’s degree in Consumer Science from Texas Wesleyan University and a Master of Business Administration at Le Tourneau. She is an active community volunteer serving as board chairman for Lewisville chamber of commerce, greater Lewisville United Way, and Youth & Family Counseling.

Gloria has been a member of WiNUP (EWRT) since 1978 where she has served in all chapter offices and numerous international positions. She is a past National president, Vice President, and Treasurer and is the recipient of Member of the Year in 1991 and Honorary Life in 2005. Gloria received her 45 Year Membership Award during the WiNUP Centennial 2023 Conference.



Gloria currently resides in Georgetown, Texas with husband Lindy, where she enjoys water aerobics, bowling, sewing, and spending time with family and friends. She remains an active member of the North Texas chapter. You can get a look at some of Gloria's handiwork on the quilt that was raffled at the Centennial Conference. She crafted the quilt blocks for North and South Texas chapters.

Dawn Compton

2024 North Texas Chapter International Board Representative

 

Dawn Compton is a Senior Account Manager for Oncor Electric Delivery Company. She is responsible for managing the relationships with several retail electric providers (REPs) serving customers in Oncor's service territory.

 

Throughout Dawn's 35 year career with Oncor, she has worked in various departments, including Customer Service, Community Relations, Corporate Philanthropy and currently REP & Market Relations.


In her current role as Senior Account Manager, she champions operational excellence and ideas for improved service by effectively resolving REP concerns and identifying opportunities for improvement.

 

In addition to her Oncor responsibilities, Dawn is a volunteer for Mission Arlington and North Texas Girl Scouts at the STEM Center of Excellence.

 

Dawn holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences Degree from Dallas Baptist University.
