Angie Engle 2025

Angie Engle

2025 WiNUP Ohio Chapter Chair

 

Angie is a dedicated Business Services Account Manager at AEP Ohio, where she excels in managing commercial and community accounts. Her primary responsibilities include addressing power quality, billing, sustainability, and new service concerns. Angie specializes in building strong relationships with her customers, ensuring their needs are met and enhancing their overall experience. Over the past four years in her current role, she has successfully managed several projects that have driven load growth and attracted new customers to AEP Ohio. Previously, Angie worked in AEP Ohio’s Forestry group and the AEP Customer Solutions Center.

Angie joined WiNUP in 2021 and quickly became a mentee in the Ohio Chapter’s mentorship group. Inspired by the positive impact of the mentoring program, she joined and later chaired the chapter Mentorship Committee in 2024. Angie also co-chaired the Digital Media Committee, aiming to leverage digital media to promote the networking, stem, volunteering, and professional development opportunities available to WiNUP members. Additionally, in 2024, she has represented the Ohio Chapter on the WiNUP International Board and was part of the International Conference Banquet Committee.

In her spare time, Angie is passionate about volunteering in the community. She enjoys contributing to organizations such as Star House, Junior Achievement, the Mid Ohio Food Collective, United Way and the Red Cross. Angie also serves as a Blood Program Leader for the Red Cross, organizing blood drives for AEP Ohio.

Outside of work and volunteering, Angie loves spending time with her five children, three fur babies, and close friends. As a foodie and adventure enthusiast, she strives to bring excitement and enriching experiences into the lives of those around her.

2025 WiNUP Ohio Chapter Vice Chair


Katie is a graduate of Capital University with a bachelor’s in mathematics.  As part of their dual degree program, she also graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s in Electrical & Computer Science Engineering.  Following earning her bachelor’s, she earned her Professional MBA, with a focus on Supply Chain and Risk Management from The Ohio State University in 2021.

Katie has worked for American Electric Power (AEP) for 15 years.  Currently, she works with corporate compliance on the ENRA team. 

Joining WiNUP in 2013, she’s held various committee roles over the years within including: special events, annual banquet, and social media.  At an international level she recently assisted within the sponsorship committee for the 100th year WiNUP conference.

Outside of work and WiNUP, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and two children, Joshua (8) and Sarah (3).

 

 

Kristen Thompson 2025

2025 WiNUP Ohio Chapter Secretary


Kristen Thompson is the Learning and Development Manager at AEP, where she manages the technical training and apprenticeship programs.  This is her 20th year at American Electric Power. Kristen graduated from Ohio University where she received her bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and completed her Master's of Business Administration at Capital University.

In addition to her dedication to WiNUP, Kristen serves as a Community Champion for the Mid-Ohio Operation Feed Campaign and serves on the Board of Trustees of Ohio Energy Project. Originally, from Pittsburg, PA she now lives in Pataskala, OH with her husband and two children.  As a 16 year member of WiNUP, Kristen has been involved with her local chapter as well as the international level. A past President for Ohio and International, she now focuses on supporting committees and helping to develop new members.

Brittany is a Utility Business Development Manager at American Electric Power (AEP).  She focuses on the utilization of excess asset capabilities to build revenue opportunities.  Prior to her current role, she was on the Grid Modernization team for AEP Ohio with a focus on bringing the benefits of AMI meters to the customer through their online energy experience.

Prior to her time at AEP, Brittany worked in both ecommerce and hospitality industries with a focus on customer experience and vendor performance. In both industries, she specialized in bringing vendors with poor performance within the acceptable and expected performance thresholds.

Brittany joined WiNUP in 2017 and has served or chaired on the following committees: Programming, Mentoring, Professional Development (International Committee).  She is currently the Ohio Chapter Treasurer following her role in the Chapter Chair, Vice Chair, and Immediate Past Chair.

She holds a master’s in industrial & organizational psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor of Psychology from Otterbein University. Brittany is PMP certified and holds a Smartsheet certification. Outside of work and WiNUP she enjoys gardening so she can make her own hot sauce, pickles, relish and more. When she isn’t busy in the garden, she loves exploring new parks with her husband, Mark, and riding her bicycle.

2025 WiNUP Ohio Chapter Intl. Board Representative


Kimete is seasoned energy regulatory consultant with over 14 years of experience in the energy sector, specializing in navigating the complexities of regulatory compliance.  Kim has a proven track record of ability to assess, recommend, and implement new processes to increase productivity. Maintains high ethical standards resulting in continued consumer confidence, satisfaction, and loyalty. Thorough, analytical project manager meets deadlines and goals and generates impactful reports.

Kim is currently employed by AEP Ohio as a Sr. Regulatory Consultant. She supports in preparation of multi-million-dollar, complex regulatory rate base cases. Applies knowledge of regulatory matters for the applicable regulatory functions, such as legal foundations of regulation, the federal and state regulatory commission structures, utility ratemaking, and rate design. Responded to commission audits and supported witness preparation. Led and supported regulatory compliance filings.

In her free time, Kim is an avid gardener and enjoys cultivating a variety of plants and flowers, finding peace and fulfillment in nurturing nature. Gardening not only serves as a creative outlet but also promotes a sustainable lifestyle.

Kim has a passion for exploration and loves to travel and discover new cultures, cuisines, and landscapes. Each journey offers unique experiences and memories, inspiring a deeper appreciation for the world.

Kim is also an enthusiastic runner and enjoys the physical and mental benefits of running. Participating in local and travel races and exploring new trails, running is not just a fitness routine but a way to connect with nature and clear the mind.

Kim believes in living life to the fullest by engaging in activities that promote health, knowledge, and adventure. Whether tending to a garden, exploring a new destination, or hitting the running trails, Kim embraces every opportunity for growth and enjoyment.

 

Andora Marshall 2025

Andora Marshall

2025 WiNUP Ohio Chapter Immediate Past Chapter Chair

Andora Has over 30 years of utility/energy experience with two Fortune 500 companies (Nisource, 21 years and American Electric Power, 15 years) with Cyber Security, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Rates & Regulatory, and Customer & Distribution Operations project and change management background. Andora has a Passion for training and development. 

Andora has a Master's in Organization Communications from Ohio University and two bachelor's degrees in business management and information systems from Capital University of Bexley, Ohio.  She holds certifications in the following disciplines: Six Sigma Lean, PROSCI Change Management Professional, Professional Scrum Master (PSM), and has a master certification in Business Analysis. 

Her community services include appointed committee chair of the City of Pickerington's Planning and Zoning Commission, President of the Windmiller Ponds Homeowner's Association Board of Trustee, board member of Park Towers Condominium Association, and Advisor for Ashland University's Strategic AI and Women's leadership Programs. She is an active member of the Community of Real Estate Entrepreneurs (COREE) and regularly participates in speaking engagements for Ohio University's Celebrate Women's programs. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, Real estate investing, and an avid walker who participates in 5k, 10k, 15k, and 1/2 marathons.
