In the second installment of the AI seminar series, Marlies Patton will explore the strategic dimensions of artificial intelligence, offering insights into how business leaders are navigating AI transformation across people, process, and technology. Building on the foundational concepts introduced in the first session, Marlies will discuss the diverse approaches and key considerations that shape AI strategy, using real-world examples from AEP as a guiding framework. Attendees will gain valuable perspectives on aligning AI initiatives with strategic objectives and driving innovation within their organizations. Join us for a session designed to equip professionals with the strategic mindset necessary to harness the full potential of AI.

Join us Monday July 21 from 10am-2pm CST for an exciting Summer STEM-a-thon at Urschel Pavilion in Valparaiso – a fun-filled event hosted by the Greater Northwest Indiana Boys & Girls Club designed to spark curiosity and creativity in young minds though hands on STEM activities. Kids will rotate through ~10-12 activity stations where they’ll build, experiment, and explore challenges such as snap circuits, dash robots, balance blocks and more!

We are looking for 10 volunteers to lead station activities. 2-3 volunteers will be posted at each station to guide the kids and keep the fun (and learning) going!

**No STEM background required – just a love of learning & willingness to inspire.

**All materials provided – representatives from the Boys & Girls Club will provide written instructions and a demonstration of the activity.

**Lunch provided.

Join Metro Chicago for a book review event at a location in Crown Point, IN. Registration is required to receive the book and small goodie bag ahead of the event so you can complete it prior to the event.
Food and beverages will be provided during the event. SPACE IS LIMITED, RESERVE YOUR SPOT TODAY!!

A WiNUP/Duneland YMCA kick off collaboration EXPO intended to reach young girls in the community. STEAM like a GIRL has it all for young girls looking to learn about anything STEAM related. At the expo, there will be different zones/stations all pertaining to STEAM that the attendees will be able to take advantage of and learn from. ?The goal of this event is to kick off a consistent STEAM program for the young girls of the community.

Learn how to build and compete at the robotics zone. Make a bath bomb at the chemistry zone. Learn the importance of movement at the movement zone. Learn how to replenish electrolytes at the electrolyte zone. Understand the power of the human brain at the optical illusion zone. Talk to a real-life storm chaser at the weather zone.

We are looking for 15 volunteers to help with registration and lead groups through the zones!

• No STEAM background required - all welcomed!
• WiNUP members who are NiSource employees, please also register through the YourCause registration link.
• Volunteers needed from 9:00am - 12:00pm (event is from 9:30am - 11:30am)
• The YMCA requires all volunteers to participate in a virtual child protection training session. All volunteers will receive an email with more details.
• T-Shirts provided to volunteers
• Water and popcorn provided
